I am a wanderer. I can’t stay still… And when my body can’t travel, I do it with my mind. I revisit places I’ve seen; find new ones to explore… I walk down memory lane, inventing stories and using my senses to bring back to life the scents, the beauty, the noises, the laughter… And if they aren’t there, I can make them appear. I relive the conversations and I imagine how things would have turned out to be if other words would have been said in those moments. I am a wanderer… as I surrender myself to a world that belongs both to me and to the infinite possibilities.
“Travel… the best way to be lost and found, at the same time!” (Brenna Smith)
It is said that we only live once and that by reading we can live more lives than we were destined to experience. I think we actually live more than once either way and that books are just a means to arrive at different times and places. My belief is that our energy flows in the universe and is in constant motion. We hold within our cells memories of unknown worlds that we can awaken. How we can do so is up to us!… the things that we do and the actions we take Now, Today, in the PRESENT.
No matter where we were born, we are connected to the Source of Creation and we are a part of It. Just like the Rays of the Sun, we are here to embrace the darkness and spread the light. We have our own magic to share with the world. When you feel the rush to create, every part of you resonates with the Universe and the worlds that we have yet to discover. It is a moment in which we bond with the Unknown without the fear of It. Creativity becomes a bridge. It brings us closer to one another, it helps us communicate with or without words. Have you celebrated your magic today?
“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.” (W.B Yeats)
The tides chant haunting melodies and just like a siren’s song, the sea calls to us, a hypnotic pull I cannot resist. Unraveling in front of me, She unfolds its spell, binding souls in eternal wonder.
My grandmother once whispered to me that the sea is a vast, mysterious entity, meant for just dipping your toes into and offering a respectful salute, with its waves murmuring ancient secrets and drawing us into their depths, while the infinite horizon always seems to lure us with promises of the unknown and unseen.
The salt-tinged winds kiss my skin, whispering tales of distant lands, the same lands I know nothing of now, yet my soul seems to remember so many things. Within the sea’s embrace, I find a bond – a sacred boundary, a silent dialogue of light and dark.
Here, is where I humble myself – at the edge of a beautiful reunion of magical elements. I am a wanderer, I seek magic!
